Performance artist and current M.F.A. candidate at the School of Art and Design, University of Michigan. With a B.F.A. in Theater, Emilia spent four years living abroad in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where she studied mask dance with Didik Nini Thowok and participated in a variety of interdisciplinary art collaborations. Emilia's work blends elements of theater and performance art, puppetry, experimental dance, object manipulation, costume design, film and sculpture.
